"Humans seldom value that which they cannot name."Students of Civil Engineering & Architecture showed off this school year's work on June 15th at our CEA Banquet! This project was a pivotal, irreplaceable experience for all of us. We can't thank our partners, mentors, and supporters enough - our teacher, Mr.McGregor; the architects, Brent and Christina of studio freeby; the lighting designer, Carol Prendergast of Oculus Light Studio; our helping hand, Don Wallis; and many, many more. Being able to see the culmination of our labor reflected in the Tiny House has been a unique and rare opportunity that we're so grateful for!

School's out, but CEA is still on campus finishing up the build. Here are some pictures from our final few days of the build. We finished installing the polycarbonate, fine-tuned the interior, and electrified the Tiny House with circuits, wires, and downlighting. See the previous post for details about our upcoming banquet this Saturday, June 15th!
This past month, CEA has doubled down on the build. As we wrap up the semester, we have worked on the TinyHouse both in class and out. We've completed two out of our three schedule extracurricular build days, showing up for a few hours the last two weekends to get to work. We are also planning for our Civil Engineering & Architecture Banquet to celebrate our hard work this year and to thank all those who've supported the TinyHouse 2.0 project. All sponsors and supporters of CEA are invited to join us on June 15th, 2019 at Da Vinci High School to celebrate with us! See the poster attached for details. Make sure to RSVP at tinyurl.com/CEA2019Banquet. A few major accomplishments of the past few weeks:
